1/2 Vintage Quilt and 1 cute toy

I promised I would write about how to make crocheted flowers in this blog BUT I haven’t wrote the patterns out yet…SORRY.

I have been working on this quilt off and on for 2 years! And its still itty bitty. Maybe that will be my project this week! 95% of the fabric is vintage and the rest are little scraps of fabric. It is hard to find vintage fabric in South Dakota. I need to go back home to Tejas and stock up!

While I am sharing sewed items–I came across this guy today while cleaning. I did NOT make him/her–”it.” I bought this at the fiber fest in Fargo, ND this past summer. I think it is sooo cute and not to mention the pocket sewed on the back! What a cute touch! She even had tags with her info on it sewed onto the back. Seems like I remember her saying that she also made teddy bears…

I Need Suggestions For My Blog

And now on to the knitting bags! I finished this humongous bag–seriously one of the biggest bags I have ever made. I honestly didn’t intend on it being so big! It just turned out that way… but anywho–here it is–oh and those things at the bottom of the bag are my attempt to make flowers out of buttons….

This bag was incredibly hard to take pics of by myself. Its another knitting bag and I was going for a doctors bag shape:

Whatever doesn’t sell at the craft show I am putting in an etsy shop. And then I will be adding new stuff as I make it. We set up our booth today at 2:30 so I need to put the finishing touches on everything…

 

This was a jacket from the 60′s that I bought when I was 17. I could never wear the jacket because it was to small but I knew one day I would make it into something else! And here it is–my knitting bag

Well I was going to post lots of pics via links but its not working. I will add on to this later. I need to get started sewing.

Finally finished my newest knitting bag. Yesterday I ran out of energy and today same thing. I just feel like blah. Well here is the bag: this one is big enough for your laptop and knitting projects. I embroidered some flowers on it and put buttons at each top corner. Look closely at the pic and you will see them…Well iI wish I could say that I am all done with these bags but I still have quite a few more to make before Friday. I do not imagine I will get them all done. Not at this rate…
