Crocheted Improv Hat
For all those scraps of yarn that I have laying around I have started sticking them in hats and really playing with the texture and color combinations. Not only are these hats really fun but they are quick to make! I like to add bobbles on random rows so that the hat has lots of diverse texture.
Making a bobble is really easy you just: yo, go in stitch, bring working yarn through first loop on hook (there are now two loops on hook), *yo again, go back in stitch, bring working yarn through first loop* (you should now have three stitches on loop) continue from asterisks until there are 5 loops on hook, bring working yarn through all 5 loops on hook. wa-lah!
This was a jacket from the 60′s that I bought when I was 17. I could never wear the jacket because it was to small but I knew one day I would make it into something else! And here it is–my knitting bag
Well I was going to post lots of pics via links but its not working. I will add on to this later. I need to get started sewing.

Finally finished my newest knitting bag. Yesterday I ran out of energy and today same thing. I just feel like blah. Well here is the bag: this one is big enough for your laptop and knitting projects. I embroidered some flowers on it and put buttons at each top corner. Look closely at the pic and you will see them…
Well iI wish I could say that I am all done with these bags but I still have quite a few more to make before Friday. I do not imagine I will get them all done. Not at this rate…
