I went out to my granny’s yesterday. First stop was to a little junk store that I consider the best kept secret in Texas. I picked up these planters. I got some more too that I have since super glued back together but I didn’t get a picture of them before my camera battery died. Anywho, we worked in my granny’s yard–we thinned out her ferns and chicken and hen plants. I took the babies we uprooted home and put in these planters, gifted some out and planted the rest in my flower beds. I also brought home bookoos of ivy that she wanted to THROW AWAY. I am going to be participating in a flea market this weekend and have some real gems. I have been cleaning, polishing and repairing things all day and I can tell you folks–they just don’t make’em like they use to.
I love the planters you found! I’m always looking for vintage planters. No competition for you though; I’m in Florida.
